EVENT FORMAT

This is planned to be a a team event - aiming for three weapon teams; but we will adapt based on registrations since some clubs are having difficulty forming teams. If you do not have a full team, we can help group you with others without a team - but, we'll see how it plays out with registrations - perhaps going to individuals if that's easier for other clubs. This is a tournament for fun, so come for the fun and we'll figure the rest out!

EQUIPMENT DECORATION

Fencing will take place under ultraviolet (UV) light. White fencing clothing (jackets, breeches, socks, and sneakers) naturally fluoresces, causing it to glow brightly! Feel free to decorate your equipment with neon tape, wear neon socks, and get creative with other fluorescent accessories. We’ll provide tape (to attach to uniform/equipment) and fluorescent markers for anyone who wants to further personalize their look without altering their fencing equipment. Foil and epee blades will be wrapped in neon tape. Sabre blades will be decorated in a special way to ensure fairness for both fencers.

Rules

• This is an unsactioned tournament open to anyone with fencing experience

• Fencing breeches are NOT required; but long pants such as sweat pants are

• Other standard fencing uniform/equipment rules apply
